Ψ-HEAT Circular — Waste-Heat Recovery and Digital Monitoring at Psistaria Ilios

Psistaria Ilios Ltd, a food-service company in Cyprus, is installing an automated heat-recovery system that captures exhaust heat from its grill ovens to pre-heat the water used in daily kitchen cleaning and cooking, replacing gas-fired heating. As technology provider for the MANTRA implementation phase, Aridex instruments the system with a reversible IoT sensor array and cloud dashboard, validates its thermal performance under real operating conditions and supplies the data for an ISO 14064-aligned CO₂ audit.

Objectives

Validate the installed heat-recovery system with continuous IoT monitoring and a live dashboard.

Verify at least 30% primary energy savings and 25% GHG emission reduction against the corporate baseline (ISO 14064-1, GHG Protocol).

Assess phase-change-material (PCM) thermal storage as the next step and document results for sector-wide replication.
